Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-06-04 · Last updated: May 29, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Qamino. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable — if anything is unclear, write to privacy@qamino.io.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Qamino, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you are using Qamino on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. What Qamino is — and what it is not
Qamino is a personal dashboard that helps you keep track of your travels and the visa and tax residency thresholds that apply to you. The calculations are based on publicly available rules and are kept up to date by us as best we can.
Qamino is not a legal advisor. Qamino is not a tax advisor. Qamino is not an immigration consultant. Qamino is not a travel planner. The information shown in the app is indicative; you remain solely responsible for your own compliance with the laws of every country you visit, transit through, or live in.
For decisions that have a real legal or fiscal consequence for you, consult a qualified professional in the relevant jurisdiction.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction to use Qamino. If you are between 16 and the age of majority where you live, you must have your parent or legal guardian agree to these terms on your behalf.
4. Your account
Qamino accounts are created and authenticated through Google Sign-In (Google OAuth). You are responsible for keeping your Google account credentials secure, including any second-factor authentication you have enabled.
You may not share your account with anyone else. One person, one account.
You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
5. Plans, billing and refunds
Qamino is available on a free plan (FREE) and on paid plans (CORE and PRO), monthly or yearly. Pricing is shown on the homepage and on the pricing page.
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period through Stripe, our payment processor. You can cancel at any time from the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from the app. After cancellation, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds for EU residents — you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the start of your paid subscription, as required by EU consumer law, except where you have explicitly requested immediate provision of the service and acknowledged that this waives your withdrawal right.
- Refunds for other jurisdictions — Qamino does not offer pro-rated refunds for partially used billing periods. If a serious technical failure on our side prevents you from using the service, contact us and we will assess a refund in good faith.
- Taxes — prices shown may exclude applicable VAT or sales tax. Stripe collects taxes where we are required to do so based on your billing country.
6. Intellectual property
Qamino, its name, its logos, its source code, its design system, its content and its documentation are owned by Qamino LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the data you enter into Qamino. By using the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process and display your data strictly for the purpose of operating the service for you.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data from Qamino through automated means without our prior written consent.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Use Qamino to engage in any illegal activity, or in a way that would breach the laws of your country of residence or any country whose residency rules you track in the app.
- Attempt to disrupt, degrade, or compromise the security of the service or of other users.
- Resell or sublicense access to Qamino.
8. Termination
You can terminate your account at any time using the "Delete account" feature inside the app, or by writing to privacy@qamino.io.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, if your use of the service exposes us or other users to legal or technical risk, or if we are required to do so by law. Where reasonable, we will give you advance notice and an opportunity to cure the issue.
9. Disclaimers
Qamino is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the visa or tax residency calculations are accurate, complete, or up to date for your specific situation. You acknowledge that immigration and tax rules change, that exceptions and bilateral treaties exist, and that only a qualified professional can give you an authoritative answer.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Qamino LLC arising out of or in connection with your use of the service is limited to the total fees you have paid to Qamino in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you are on the FREE plan, our total liability is limited to USD 50.
In no event will Qamino LLC be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, including but not limited to fines, penalties, lost profits, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain damages. To the extent such exclusions and limitations are not enforceable in your jurisdiction, this section applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Qamino LLC and its officers, employees and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your misuse of the service, (b) your violation of these terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or to your use of Qamino will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, in English, with the seat of arbitration in Wyoming. Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.
Class action waiver — to the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes will be resolved on an individual basis, not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Nothing in this section prevents you from raising a complaint with your local consumer protection authority where you have a non-waivable right to do so under the law of your country of residence.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Qamino evolves. For any material change, we will notify you by transactional email and, where applicable, request your acceptance the next time you sign in. If you do not agree to the new terms, you can terminate your account before they take effect.
14. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Qamino LLC regarding the service.
15. Contact
For any question regarding these terms, write to privacy@qamino.io.
